Happy Belated Father's Day to all the father's out there. We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend with Mike here and the overnight pass for Lacey at Jamie and Linda's. Everything went very well. I managed to get all of Lacey's med's into her on time. I have even gotten to give her 3 shots in her tummy now, my favorite part. Ha! The shots are to prevent clotting.
We all attended Life Christ Church yesterday. It was a very emotional service, as Jamie led worship and dedicated their first song to his niece Lacey, one of God's true miracles. Pastor Werner recognized one special father at the beginning of his service, which was Mike. Werner and Gabriel, his wife, were in ICU with us the day after Lacey was admitted, which we are truly thankful for.
Mike flew home right after church, which of course it was very difficult for him to leave Lacey once again. But we are hoping time will fly by and we will all be together in Ketchikan shortly after June 28th.
Lacey is still receiving cards that were mailed shortly after her accident, but they were forwarded to our street address, which took a very long time to get to our PO Box in Ward Cove. Never did receive your card or Travis and Taylor's Rosie, but maybe some day.
Thank you for the use of this computer Glenn, allowing us the internet access right in the room. Lacey is enjoying getting onto Myspace, this blog and her other websites.
Will write more later.
God Bless,
Shelly & Lacey

Good morning to you both. Robbie and I are so glad that Lacey is progressing so well. I'm sure you both are very excited to get home to your own things. We are looking forward to seeing you all after you get home and things settle down a bit. Keep up the hard work and we'll see you in K-Town.
Always

Good morning Lacey and Shelly.
Things are sounding very good. Spending all night awawy from Rehab is a good sign and home is getting closer. I am so glad everyday to be able to write you guys and read the reports. All of this is so upbuilding to us all. I send many hugs and kisses your way. Good work Lacey. Tough little girl. My K.C. leaves for her trip to go see Camele graduate from her mech. school. Then they are going to drive down to FL to see KC's mom and spend some time down there and from there who knows. I really miss my granddaughter alot and hope she stops up here to see me at Vancouver. You guys have a good day and will tune in tomorrow. Rosie B.
My Dear Lacey,
I am thinking about you daily on my journeys in Ireland and still saying a prayer for you every night. I hope your memory is still improving and you had a good visit with your daddy. Shelly, if you need me to help you get home, I can. I will be back in the states on the 27th of June..Just keep that in mind..don't have to be back to work until July 1st. Leaving Donegal for Northern Ireland in morning..will be in a very remote area for the next 3-4 days but I will write you when I can. Lots of love, Liz

Great to hear of the tremendous progress Lacey is making. It is amazing to read this blog and hear of the daily improvements. We are thrilled that things are going well. We will be in Ketchikan in August, hopefully, we can catch up in person then.
