Hi everyone this is Lacey. I just got discharged from RIO yesterday and finally got to read all the blogs. It was pretty emotional for me leaving because it's the next step for me and I will miss a lot of the therapists there, but I am ready to go home! Thank you everyone for thinking of me and all of your prayers. They truely helped me recover and heal as fast as I did. It surprised me how many people truely cared about me and it brought me to tears reading the comments. What an experience this has been! Hard at times, but it really taught me a lot about myself and life. I love you all and I can't wait to get home!

I feel so blessed at having met "All of You". I really had a great time at the Spaghetti Factory. You bet that I will be there in August to give Lacey a gentle "Bear Hug" after the metal Halo comes off. I keep seeing some radiance from You Lacey, do You have another halo on ? You are such a strong girl, with a personality that "Rocks". You were obviously a beautiful young adult, both on the inside and outside prior to the accident. You are now such a Pretty Young Angel here on Earth Lacey. I will miss seeing You but I am glad that I have the phone numbers.
I thank You & Your Mother & Father for allowing me to see You through this.
God Bless You & I know Your Vision and right hand and arm movement will get better soon. Like I said, I am not accepting anything less than 100%, when I say my Rosary & other prayers, and ask for the intercessions of my patron saint and others I always add "I can not accept anything less than 100% Restoration of Lacey". You truly are a Miracle Girl.
