Lacey June 13th #2

Lacey's Dr. appt went well today, but no sutures to her wounds. We met with a plastic surgeon specialist today, who examined her and would like the wounds to heal as they are. He will then examine her in mid to late August when the halo is removed and will make the "plan" for her surgeries which will be needed over the next year. We were so very happy to meet with him today. Lacey is very encouraged and left the visit with a very positive attitude.

Jennifer and Cheyan, as I write this, Lacey is snuggled up taking a nap with her blankie that Cheyan made for her. She loves it Cheyan. She was looking at the photos of our Cabo pictures today that you sent to her and can't wait to go on the next vacation with you and your mom and I. No sun for a year though, so it will have to wait. She also wore one of the night gowns last night that you sent Jennifer. Fit perfectly over the halo. Thank you.

More later.........

Shelly

Lacey, I want to tell you that I have had the wonderful privilege to work with Glenn over the last 10 years. He is a wonderful person. Of all the people in the world to come upon you - he is the one that you would want to be with you in a time of need. His spiritual awareness and compasion is beyond most proples comprehension. I have heard about you from day one and I am so glad that you are still with us. God bless and watch over you. Keep in touch with GH is is a wonderful man. Sandi

Lacey, I too have known Glenn Hogan for about 10 years. When he told me of your incredible story I thought to myself how lucky you were to have him happen upon the scene of your terrible accident. Glenn is probably the most genuine person I know and I'm not at all surprised that he was able to comfort you and care for you when you needed him most. Glenn is not the type to pat himself on the back or take credit for such an amazing act of kindness, so I will do it for him...Glenn, you are a hero! Our thoughts are with you Lacey. Get well soon. Lacey,
I wanted to share this with you, this was a prayer that Ann Dale had for Amanda my daughter. Ann is now with God and I know she would like us to share with you.

I said a prayer for you today and I know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart although He spoke no word. I asked that He'd be near you at the start of each new day, to grant you health and blessings and friends to share the way. I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small, but it was His loving care I prayed for most of all.

We are very moved by your hard work Lacey, you are amazing! GH is a hero and an angel on earth.
I too was in a terrible car accident when I was 16 and God gave me a second chance at life. I am thankful everyday and I know you will live life to it's fullest touching a lot of people along the way! God bless you and your family,
Rick, Lisa, Amanda and Alan Dale
