Lacey Update May 29

Hello to All,
Shelly said they moved Lacey to a regular hospital room this morning. The room is very bright with a view of the river. A nice change. They are telling her Lacey maybe released sooner than originally thought. Possibly a few days. Like I have said before tho, things change day to day. They are talking about a rehabilitation center every day, 3 hours a day, for the next few months. So that is the direction they are leaning today.

Shelly and I are going to WOU tomorrow to pack up Lacey's dorm. It will be a good change of scenery for Shelly, but yet another difficult step.

Thank-you for all the prayers. They will be trying some physical therapy tomorrow and we need to pray that Lacey has the strength for that. The physical therapists are going to want to see what she can do. Through the grace of God, she will show them. Liz K.

Mike, Shelly (Liz and Lacey) - Wow - I'm still trying to comprehend all that's happened and you are there in the trenches, tending to Lacey as if God lifted you up for such a purpose. God bless you.

I can hardly find the words to express how deeply we are concerend about Lacey and you caretakers. We are watching your updates daily from Bellevue, WA and praying for patience, peace, healing, and most of all, small pieces of thankfulness each day to keep your spirits up. You are in our hearts and in our prayers.

Love, Ronda and Scott Patrick, your Seahawk buddies

PS Liz - Juicy jackets zip up....while you're on a roll I'm sure they'd make wonderful pajamas!!!

Lacey,
Kona & Katy wanted me to let you know they miss you and send their love. I tell them everyday how you are doing... Kona wags her tail and Katy purrs with your updates. Just wanted you to know your furry pets are thinking of you too.

Hi Shelly and Mike,
It's great to hear how Lacy is doing. Everyone has been praying for her and our prayers are being answered. It took Marsha to get me on here. I can't figure out anything, but I have been thinking of all of you constantly. I hope everything keeps progressing smoothly and that you will all be home soon.Take care and we Love you!

Mike, Shelly and Lacey,

What a shock to hear of Lacey's accident but so happy to read the blogs and know that she is recovering so well. Our prayers will continue for you all, especially for good progress in p.t.
