Hello friends and family,
Yesterday was a big step for Lacey. After a little more than 5 months since the accident, Lacey drove yesterday from Walmart to home. So everyone in Ketchikan clear the roadway when you see Lacey zooming down the road. LOL. Actually her movement in her neck is improving on a daily basis, which should allow her to drive more frequently now. We are hoping she will be done with therapy in the next week or two.
We celebrated Lacey's 20th birthday on October 22nd by going out to dinner at Cape Fox with Ed, Marcia, Russell and Jennifer. We had a very nice time and a very good dinner.
This Friday Lacey is going to the Kamm's and will receive a facial from Lesley. She is really looking forward to that. Thank you Lesley!!! You are amazing.
Mike is hunting on Prince of Wales Island with my brother Jerry and Terry Hugo. They are due back on Tuesday. We are hoping for fresh venison heart and liver for dinner on Tuesday night.
That is all the news for now. We hope you are all doing well and in good health. Stay away from those winter time flu bugs.
Blessings,
Shelly and Lacey

Lacey, Great job on your driving!!! I am getting a little bit more brave about taking off by myself. I did the inter-state the other day and not as crazy as I was intisapating. So I am going to venture on the I- soon so I can drive up to see my sister in Stielacoom Wa. I can get to all the shopping malls though, that is a must. Give you mom a hug for me. Take care, Rosie b.
