Lacey July 3rd

We made it home yesterday. We had a two hour delay, as our plane had a fuel leak and they had to find us a replacement airplane. This is a typical day of travel whenever you travel with Shelly. I can't remember a non eventful trip. We are normally overflying Ketchikan and going to Wrangell, or being pulled off the plane due to weight and balance when traveling on one of Liz's or Larry's passes. Ha!

When we passed my work at the troopers, we were so happy to see the gigantic "Welcome Home Lacey" sign. Thank you Linda and the gang for that. It mean't so much!

It was a nice day in Ketchikan and Mike was very happy to see us all after two weeks of separation. He had fresh King waiting for us for dinner. Too bad you had to have toast and jam for dinner Jamie. Our king was so good. :)

No rest for the weary. We are off to the eye doctor today to get Lacey's new glasses prescription filled.

Looking forward to seeing all of our Ketchikan friends and family soon.

Love,

Mike, Shelly, Lacey and Auntie

Dear Lacey, Shelly, Mike and Aunt Nancy,
Hope you settle into your routine and the days go by fast for you, so Lacey, you can come back and get that halo off. I know that will be a wonderful day. I am coming up next week to work for Steve and Lesley, so I will see you soon. I am going to stay with Shawn, but I will check in with you daily to make sure you and Aunt Nancy are not smoking cigs and watching too many soap operas. Keep smilin' we love you very much. Harold and I still can't beleive our eyes when we see you. Good job girl!! Auntie Liz
